Sofia rocks – Inviato speciale (Sofia rocks - The Special Correspondent) is an example of journalism that looks at society through new multimedia languages, without lapsing into moralism and stereotypes. It is not a publishing project, but a web series dedicated to the world of disability and developed on two levels. On one side there is the narrative, the point of view of Sofia, the protagonist, a disabled young video blogger, on the other the journalistic point of view, which sees Sofia committed to deepening the five key themes of the episodes using interviews with some professionals or people who live daily disability.

With a shoestring budget and independent co-productions, the greatest attention should be paid to research in the subject and to a wise use of language, which should be attractive, respecting the stories, and journalistically authoritative.
