Mauro Sarti was for 15 years visiting professor of journalism at the University of Bologna. He is director of the Emilia-Romagna branch of the press agency Redattore Sociale and founder of the publishing services company Agenda. He has edited for more than 20 years the magazine Accaparlante, dedicated to the issue of disability. In 2016 he produced the web series Sofia rocks - Inviato speciale on disability. He is the author of Il giornalismo sociale (2007) and Africa & Media (2009).
