The rapidly changing field of data journalism is one of the best practices for making complex information understandable for the general public and therefore is critical to the future of news. Come and see the 30 shortlisted entries from the 2013 edition of the Data Journalism Awards (DJA) organized by the Global Editors Network with the support of Google. Data visualisation, new ways of storytelling and the most successful data-driven forms of investigative journalism will be presented. The final awards will be given at the GEN News Summit on 20 June 2013 in Paris.
