Antoine Laurent is a digital journalist and media innovation strategist. The former deputy director of the Global Editors Network (GEN), founder and director of the Data Journalism Awards, the Editors' Lab hack days and Startups for news, he specializes in designing and managing strategies, programmes and events to help media organisations innovate and collaborate in the right way with the right tech suppliers and startups. He has consulted and worked with the world's biggest newsrooms, including The New York Times, The Guardian, Clarin, India Today, NOS, Zeit Online, El Pais, l'Espresso, Media 24 and many more. He worked at the World Editors Forum (WAN-IFRA), and was the editor and curator of the World e-government Forum. He holds an MA in Journalism.
