In 2016, politics provided results considered surprising by many analysts: both Brexit and Donald Trump's victory were declared highly unlikely in many opinion polls until just a few days before the referendum/election. At the same time, quantitative and qualitative research remains an irreplaceable tool for political communication and for the analysis of complex phenomena. What to do, then, to prevent polls completely losing their public credibility?
