A camera is just a means, a mere tool like a pen, with which the photojournalist writes the story of the forgotten and the outcasts. Where pictures are like words, and even more so, because photography is the most powerful instrument of denunciation we have.

What does it mean today to be a photojournalist? How do you choose the stories to tell? Encountering what difficulties and running what risks? What results can be achieved?

A session with Maurizio Faraboni, photojournalist, born in 1972, on the front line for years “to tell with pictures what others don’t tell, and to sensitize people (on these matters).” A photographer who thinks that reporting is not a job but a mission, almost a duty.

Moderator Alessio Jacona.

Organized and sponsored by FujiFilm.
