Building on the "Window on Europe" communication project set up in 2008 at the University of Perugia, this workshop aims to address the issue of information and communication about the European Union. What is the difference between recounting EU news and explaining the Union to its citizens? Because of the obvious difficulties in communicating about Europe, which is often perceived as a complex and distant concept, in this session we will try to identify the main causes that make European communication "an ineffective labyrinth," where the citizen gets lost. We will analyze possible solutions to improve the system of European information-communication, starting from the communication networks present within the territory of the EU member states.
