Tana De Zulueta is president of the Italian committee of UNRWA (the United Nations Relief and Works Agency). Journalist and columnist, she contributes to a variety of national and international publications. She is also an independent consultant in the fields of media, human rights and elections, and has led electoral observation missions for OCSE and the EU. She was a member of the Italian Chamber of Deputies, president of the Foreign Affairs Commission and Senator (1996-2008). She served as Italy correspondent for both the Economist and, previously, The Sunday Times.
