Sara Moreira is a freelance journalist and software engineer. She ran the Portuguese part of Generation E, a data-driven investigation on south European youth migration. She has worked in bottom-up community journalism projects such as Global Voices Online, as an editor for Portuguese language countries, @Verdade newspaper in Mozambique, as a coordinator of the 2013 electoral coverage through a national network of citizen reporters, and in Timor-Leste as a trainer on online communication for local advocacy groups.
