Salma Haidrani is a London-based award-winning freelance writer and journalist. Salma won in the Features category at the End Violence Against Women Awards in November 2016 for her work on so-called honour killings on British soil. She also won Best Online Blog at the Asian Media Awards in 2013 and was shortlisted for the Award for Outstanding Online Commentary at the CIPR Journalism Awards 2013.
