Sabika Shah Povia, a graduate in Journalism from the London College of Communication, has been working as a freelance journalist for over ten years. Her work focuses on immigration, political and religious extremism, social integration, racism and its connection with the Italian colonial past. Since August 2019 she has been part of the editorial staff of Propaganda live (LA7). She contributes to the Carta di Roma Association in the training of journalists in Italy and abroad on the rules and regulations to follow in the field of immigration. She has contributes to national and international newspapers, including Reuters, Dawn News, La Repubblica and The Post Internazionale, and has been a consultant for the press office of Amnesty International. In 2022 her first documentary, The mayor - Me, Mussolini and the museum, will be released, produced by Road Television and Illégitime Défense, with the contribution of Rai Documentari and ARTE.
