Pier Luigi Sacco

Pier Luigi Sacco is Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Markets and Cultural Heritage, and Professor of the Economics of Culture, of the University IULM of Milan. He is also professor of creative business at the USI in Lugano, Switzerland. He writes for Il Sole 24 Ore, Saturno, Arttribune and Flash Art. He is an economist by training who has developed an approach that cross-cuts among many disciplines in the social sciences, mathematics, and the humanities. A specialist in connections, he has worked on many culture-led development projects and currently consults with governments, public administrations and private institutions and companies worldwide. Has authored about 200 papers in peer-reviewed journals and edited books on topics of culture and socio-economic development, evolutionary game theory, computational intelligence.
