Paul Mason is a freelance reporter, independent film-maker and writer. He was until February 2016 the economics editor of Channel 4 News. He is the producer (with Theopi Skarlatos as director) of the 4-part documentary series #ThisIsACoup - How the EU Destroyed the First Radical Left Gov in Modern History (2015) made for Field of Vision, the visual journalism film unit of The Intercept.
He is the author of Live Working or Die Fighting: How the Working Class Went Global (2007), Meltdown: The End of the Age of Greed (2009), Why It's Kicking Off Everywhere: The New Global Revolutions (2012), Rare Earth (2012) and PostCapitalism: A Guide to our Future (2015).
