Corporate Europe Observatory
Pascoe Sabido has been with Corporate Europe Observatory since January 2013, focusing on industry influence over European Commission policy making. His particular area of work is tackling corporate domination within the Commission's advisory groups – formally known as Expert Groups – formed to shape new legislation. He leads the Expert Group Working Group for the Alliance for Lobbying Transparency and Ethics Regulation (ALTER-EU) and is involved in their European Parliamentary elections pledge campaign. His other priorities include climate and energy issues, particularly the EU's ongoing climate targets as well as the corporate capture of climate policy at national, regional and international level. He previously worked for Friends of the Earth England, Wales and Northern Ireland as an International Climate Campaigner, as well as the New Economics Foundation in London, working on social policy.
