Matthew Fortini, computer engineer, is an expert in open data. He has participated in initiatives of civic hacking in the Chamber of Deputies and in the Tuscan Regional Council, with a focus on topics related to civic emergencies. He co-founded with Matthew Tempestini Terremotocentroitalia.info, a project which immediately following the Italian earthquake of 24 August 2016 collected information and reports as tools of support and monitoring for local communities affected by the earthquake.
