Matteo Bressan is Emerging Challenges Analyst for the NATO Defense College Foundation and writes on the Middle East and security for the Italian daily Il Giornale.
He was director of studies of the 2016 Terrorism course at the SIOI in Rome. He is co-editor with Alessandro Politi, Domitilla Savignoni and Stefano Felician Beccari of Eurasia e jihadismo - Guerre ibride sulla Nuova Via della Seta (2016) and co-author with Laura Tangherlini of Libano nel baratro della crisi siriana (2014) and Hezbollah Tra integrazione politica e lotta armata (2013).
He has contributed to the Rivista Militare (the periodical of the Italian Army) and Informazioni della Difesa. He holds a 2007 Masters in International Strategic-Military Studies from the Centro Alti Studi per la Difesa.
