Mark Deuze
University of Amsterdam
Mark Deuze is Professor of Media Studies, specializing in Journalism, at the University of Amsterdam Faculty of Humanities. From 2004 to 2013 he worked at the Indiana University Department of Telecommunications in Bloomington, USA. Publications of his work include over fifty articles in academic journals and seven books, including Media Work (Polity Press, 2007) and Media Life (Polity Press, 2012). His work has been translated into Chinese, German, Portuguese, Greek and Hungarian.
