Maria Vittoria Giancola is the director of News Publishing of Telecom Italia with responsibilities for the marketing and sales of digital publishing in the Italian consumer market. In the last three years she has worked on the launch of Cubolibri News&Mags and the online store of Telecom Italia for the distribution of digital copies and subscriptions for ebooks, dailies and magazines together with their distribution through commercial channels. With a degree in sociology from the University of Rome, she began her career in the telecommunications sector in 1998, including periods at Vodafone and Blu SPA before joining Telecom Italia.
