Maria Teresa Sette is a London-based freelance journalist.  Her work encompasses a variety of projects at the intersection of journalism and advocacy, focusing primarily on migration and minority rights. She works as a media consultant for NGOs, including MOAS, the first Search and Rescue NGO in the Mediterranean. She has contributed to a range of European outlets, including Wired, Corriere della Sera, Owni and Times of Malta. Maria Teresa was also news editor at Wired.it and managing editor of The New Londoners, the magazine published by a UK-based Migrants Rights' NGO.
