Marcello Pastonesi

Marcello Pastonesi, photographer and director, has a degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Genoa. He mainly deals with social issues and in recent years his work has focused on the phenomenon of migration. He worked for MTV News. In 2009 he won the Civis Media Prize for the reportage Lampedusa - Porta d’Europa and in 2011 the Ilaria Alpi Award with the reportage Libia, i ragazzi e la rivoluzione.
