Dispatches From Syria
Marcell Shehwaro is an activist from Aleppo, Syria who writes the Dispatches from Syria blog on Global Voices. The blog won the Online Commentary (Small) award at the 2015 Online Journalism Awards.
She is also the general manager of the Syrian NGO Kesh Malek, founded in 2011, whose activities are concentrated in the area around Aleppo.
