Luca Calzolari is responsible for civil protection risk communication. Together with the Department of Civil Protection he is among the leaders of the #SocialProCiv network for the communication of risk and emergency civil protection through social media. He is the editor of Montagne 360, the monthly publication of the Italian Alpine Club, and of the Giornale della Protezione Civile. For many years a member of the National Volunteer Corps Mountain Rescue team, he is also involved in the training of relief operation managers. He is among the authors of the blog Buone Notizie of the Italian daily Corriere della Sera.
