Katya Vogt is Country Director and Senior Development Manager of IREX in Kiev, Ukraine.
She is an experienced international development professional with background in program design and implementation. Specific areas of expertise include media, strategic communications and citizen engagement in governance, civil society capacity building, conflict mitigation, and community development. Currently leading IREX Ukraine country strategy and programming in the area of media, governance, and citizen engagement, Katya develops and oversees implementation of activities that empower Ukrainians to build democratic society with respect to rule of law and effective government accountability mechanisms. She holds an M.Ed from Harvard Graduate School of Education and is fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian.
