Jordi Pérez Colomé is international affairs blogger at Yahoo Spain and editor of the Spanish monthly El Ciervo. He teaches writing at Universitat Internacional de Catalunya and Universitat Pompeu Fabra, both in Barcelona (Spain). He also blogs at obamaworld.es, the first Spanish blog to successfully use crowdfunding to fund foreign reporting trips in 2012 and 2013. He has published several books in Spanish: Cómo escribir claro, Un Estado y medio. Israel y el conflicto perfecto, Irán, el país esquizo frénico and En la campaña de Obama. He has received two journalism awards: José Manuel Porquet of Digital Journalism in 2012 and Letras Enredadas 2014 from iRedes. He holds a second degree in Italian studies.
