Ingeborg Volan is the director for publishing and visual journalism at Dagens Næringsliv, Norway’s leading business newspaper. In her role, she’s responsible for optimizing the newspaper's content production and publishing for maximum subscriber loyalty and impact.
A digital journalism veteran in Norway, Ingeborg came to her current position from the role of audience engagement director at the same newspaper, and has previously been the editor for newsroom innovation at Adresseavisen and head of social media at the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. She chairs the technology and innovation subcommittee with the Norwegian Editors’ Association and was president of the Norwegian Online News Association 2013-2018.
