Since 2009 Giovanna Pancheri has been the Brussels Bureau Chief Correspondent for Eu Affairs, Belgium, France and Germany at SKY TG24, where she was previously a reporter and special correspondent covering Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She covered all the main European events travelling along the continent in the past 7 years, from the Greek economic crisis, to the terrorist attacks in Paris or the recent refugees crisis. She obtained a Master’s degree in Political Science and International Relations at University “La Sapienza” in Rome and a second one in European Studies at the College of Europe in Bruges. For her coverage of the Paris attacks she was awarded with the prize "Giornalisti del Mediterraneo" and she has been among the finalists for the International Journalism Award of the Anna Lindh Foundation.
