Giovanna Cosenza

Giovanna Cosenza has a PhD in Semiotics from the University of Bologna, where she studied under the supervision of Umberto Eco. She is currently Associate Professor of Semiotics (including the Semiotics of New Media) at the University of Bologna. Her most recent books are Semiotica e Comunicazione politica (2018), Semiotica dei nuovi media (2014) and SpotPolitik (2012). Her first novel Stasera mi butto was published in 2013. She writes a blog for the Italian daily Il Fatto Quotidiano.
