Giada Messetti, a sinologist, lived in China from 2005 to 2011, where she worked for the correspondence offices of RAI, Corriere della Sera and Repubblica. Returning to Italy in 2011, she is a contributo to and author of various television and radio programs (Caterpillar, Crozza in Wonderland, Zeta, Barbarian Invasions, Neighboring Grass, Politics). She is currently working for the RAI 3 CartaBianca program. Together with Simone Pieranni, she is the author of the podcast on the China Risciò, produced by Piano P.

She is the author of Il mio terremoto (2016), included in the collective volume La notte che il Friuli andò giù.
