Geert-Jan Bogaerts heads the department of digital media of Dutch broadcaster VPRO, where he is also a member of the management team. He is responsible for digital channels and innovation and distribution strategy. He is also an entrepreneur with his new media consultancy Raker. He has taught at the University of Groningen, consulted on new media strategies and lectured and headed workshops at different media and marketing companies.
