Fulvio Abbate

Fulvio Abbate is an author, art critic and journalist. From 1992 to 2008 he was a columnist of the Italian daily L'Unità. He currently writes for Il Garantista. As an art critic he has focused on the work of Mario Schifano and Yves Klein. He is a regular guest on the current affairs talk show (ah)iPiroso on La7. In 2013 he won the award Premio Satira Forte dei Marmi. He has written a range of books including La peste bis (1997), Teledurruti (2002), Quando è la rivoluzione (2008) and La Rivoluzione è una suora che si spoglia (2009). His latest are Manuale italiano di sopravvivenza. Come fare una televisione monolocale e vivere felici in un paese perduto (2010) and Intanto anche dicembre è passato (2014).
