Eszter Filippinyi
Open Society Human Rights Initiative
Eszter Filippinyi is a program officer at the Open Society Human Rights Initiative. She works on a global grantmaking and advocacy program focused on advancing the right to information, ensuring that communities can access government-held information that impacts their rights.
Previously, Filippinyi was a program officer for the Right to Information Fund. She also worked for the Open Society Justice Initiative’s Freedom of Information and Expression Program, developing and implementing projects worldwide, including monitoring, training, technical assistance, and legal clinics.
Filippinyi holds a degree in Spanish and French literature and linguistics from the Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, and is also a graduate of the Budapest Business School.
