Erin Millar is a journalist-entrepreneur on a mission to lower the bar to entry to media ownership. She is co-founder and CEO of Indiegraf, a platform that makes it easier for small community news outlets to grow their audience and become sustainable. She previously founded The Discourse, where she led an international award-winning journalism team and developed a successful business model for in-depth local news. She also contributed to creating Press Forward, a new industry association of independent media in Canada, and C4C Canada, a charity dedicated to amplifying underrepresented voices. As a journalist and author, Erin's work has been translated into 20 languages and published in 34 countries.
