Emma Meese manages Cardiff University’s Centre for Community Journalism, a unique fusion of research and practice committed to developing a strong network of hyperlocal and community journalism in Wales. She also runs a series of short courses, giving everyone access to the highest standard of training in digital and social media. Emma has established a number of mobile only digital newsrooms, including in primary schools. These projects have given a voice to hard to reach communities. She also speaks at a number of conferences and events across the world on the value of both mobile and community journalism.
