Edith Michaeler

Forum Journalism and Media

Edith Michaeler is project manager at the Forum Journalism and Media (FJUM) in Vienna Austria, where she focuses on audience engagement and community building. She also supports journalists in developing their skills within the dedicated FJUM training programme.

She studied History and Political Sciences in Vienna and at Sciences Po in Paris. She holds a Master’s degree in History (2004) and an Executive Master’s degree in International Media Innovation Management (2014). She is herself trained in journalism and PR (Diploma 2006) and holds a degree in "Training Journalists" (2015). Edith used to work as a journalist herself, as well as project manager and press officer in organizations in Vienna and Brussels focusing on publishing and (digital) communication.
