Donata Columbro is a journalist, science communicator, and writer. Recognized for her accessible and inclusive approach to disseminating data culture, she has been dubbed a "data humanizer."
She collaborates with "Internazionale" and "La Stampa," where she manages the Data Storie column. She is a part-time lecturer at IULM University in Milan and the University of Italian Switzerland in Lugano. Donata teaches data journalism in the journalism master's program at LUISS and publishes a newsletter every Wednesday on data, algorithms, and technology.
She is the author of the books "Ti Spiego il Dato" (Quinto Quarto 2021), "Dentro l’Algoritmo" (effequ 2022), and "Quando i dati discriminano" (Il Margine 2023).
