director Medici con l'Africa CUAMM
Don Dante Carraro, a cardiologist and priest, has been director of Medici con l’Africa Cuamm (University College Aspiring Missionary Doctors) since 2008, an organization that since 1950 has brought care and services to the most remote areas of Africa, strengthening existing health systems and investing in the training of local human resources. Today he coordinates the intervention in 8 countries (Angola, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Tanzania, Central African Republic, Sierra Leone, South Sudan and Uganda) to support 24 hospitals and 64 districts for public health activities, maternal and child care, and the fight against AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.
