Delia Vaccarello, journalist and author, writes on politics, culture, and current affairs for the Italian daily l'Unità. She conceived and wrote the column Liberi tutti against prejudice based on sexual orientation and gender identity receiving, among others, two awards from the European Commission related to the campaign For Diversity Against Discrimination. She has been engaged in anti-homophobia projects and has carried out training in journalism schools in the context of action against discrimination promoted by the Council of Europe. She is the author of several books and the editor of seven short story Principesse azzurre collections.
