Cynthia Rodriguez is a Mexican freelance journalist. She has lived in Italy since 2006. She contributes to Mexican publications such as the weekly Proceso, Dia Siete, Domingo, Obraè and the dailies El Universal,  Excelsior, Sinembargo.com, Reporte Indigo and La Silla Rota. In Italy her articles have been published in Corriere della Sera and Internazionale. She is the author of the book Contacto en Italia. El pacto entre Los Zetas y la 'Ndrangheta (2009).
