Claudia Tebaldi

Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (via video)

Claudia Tebaldi has a degree in Political Economy from Bocconi University, Milan and a PhD in Statistics from Duke University (North Carolina). Since 2000 she has been involved in research in the field of climate change, in particular with regard to studies of observed changes, and projections of future changes in the physical climate and their impacts on socio-economic systems. She has worked at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (Colorado), the Climate Central in Princeton, (New Jersey), and, currently, in the Department of Energy's national laboratory system at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (California). She was lead author of both the fifth and sixth IPCC reports (the latter published in August 2021) and is part of numerous panels of national (US) and international experts on the topic of global warming and its effects.
