Christina Johannesson

Christina Johannesson is managing change of culture, competencies and leadership at the Swedish public service broadcaster SVT News and Sports and Current Affairs. Her role is supporting the digital transformation of the news organisation. She is leading an extensive project aiming to change the leadership culture to serve the audience better in a digital future.
Christina has a journalistic background as reporter, news anchor of current affairs show Aktuellt, SVT´s European correspondent in Brussels (2005-2008) and as head of Newsgathering Department at SVT National News (2011-2016). Her audience dialogue project Fika med SVT was mentioned in the EBU News report 2018, "50 ways to make it better" which highlights practical and concrete solutions on building engagement and trust in public service journalism. She is also a member of the EBU Academy Committee, and a member of the team of experts in the EBU Digital Initiative Peer-to-peer Review.
