Cesare Alemanni was born in Milan and has lived in Berlin since 2012. In 2013 he co-founded Berlin Quarterly, an English-language review of long form journalism, literature and the arts published four times a year of which he is currently the editor. He was also news editor at Studio from 2011 to 2014.
Berlin Quarterly was recently named by Buzzfeed as one of fifteen small printed magazines worldwide you need to read.
