Bella Shakhmirza is a Russian journalist living in Milan. She works in the social and human rights field. She has organized the project “rights for dummies” 10 lessons held in the Jewish Museum of Moscow by human rights expert teaching how to deal in difficult situations. She cooperates with the Committee against Torture that investigates crimes committed by the police and the project Jewel Girls that helps young woman to come back to a normal life after being abused or forced into prostitution. All this initiatives have a strong focus on anonymity and source protection.
