Aurélien Viers, 38, is the head of digital news development of L'Obs, 1st newsmagazine and 3rd largest news website in France. His work is focused on developing new formats and tools, with the technical and marketing team of L'Obs, around visual journalism, mobile and social networks. Aurélien was formerly digital deputy director and editor in chief of L'Obs news website. He started his career as a TV reporter and special correspondent in Tokyo for LCI and TF1, before quitting to join Citizenside, a start-up specialized in citizen journalism.
