Alexander Goerlach is the founder, publisher and editor-in-chief of The European. Prior to founding The European, he worked for ZDF television, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Süddeutsche Zeitung and Die Welt. He served as online editor of the political monthly Cicero and regularly appears as guest commentator on N24 television. Goerlach holds two doctorate titles in theology and linguistics and a lectureship at the Free University Berlin.
