Agus Morales

Agus Morales (Barcelona, 1983) is a journalist and the editor-in-chief of Revista 5W. He has spent the last decade writing about victims of war and refugees. Morales is the author of We Are Not Refugees, a work of non-fiction published in English, Spanish and Italian, among other languages. He is in love with the Indian subcontinent, where he spent over five years as a correspondent for the Spanish news agency Agencia EFE in both India and Pakistan. He then spent three years with Doctors Without Borders, following population movements in Africa and the Middle East. In 2015 he founded the international journal Revista 5W. He works now at the magazine and freelances as an independent reporter for other media such as The New York Times en Español. Morales holds a PhD in language and literature — his thesis was a comparative study about the paintings and the late poems of Rabindranath Tagore.
