Adi Kochavi
data story producer Vocativ Films
Adi Kochavi is the Data Story Producer at Vocativ Films, which develops, produces, finances, markets and distributes original films and documentaries. She heads a team of data analysts who tap the deep web and the Internet of Things to source stories and characters for filmmaking. She most recently worked on Dark Net, a critically acclaimed Showtime documentary series, and is currently developing several new series for other major outlets.
Prior to joining Vocativ Films, Adi spearheaded projects for IoT-based technology company AGT, including their corporate social responsibility program and internal communications platform. Previously, she was a writer for Vocativ’s news site and the Cornell Daily Sun. Adi graduated with BA degrees in Psychology and Near Eastern Studies from Cornell University and is currently pursuing an MA in English Literature.
