Giovanni Ziccardi. Within 48 hours: an experience of technological downshifting

Antonio Sofi and Giovanni Ziccardi, two unrepentant technological devotees, take a slightly disenchanted and ironic look at what technology is removing from our lives and how it is possible to return to an intelligent use of technology to improve our daily relationship with cell phones, tablets, computers and chats. Following the path outlined in Entro 48 Ore, a book by Giovanni Ziccardi in which he recounts a six-month experiment in technological downshifting, they will discuss single-attention and multi-tasking, "human" memory recovery, refinement of tone in internet discussions, intelligent management of the growing number of e-mails and contacts that bombard us every day and the "preservation" of blogs, before finally considering new concepts of contact and friendship.
