On the occasion of the publication of the book A occhi aperti by Mario Calabresi, the author will talk with three Italian photojournalists of international renown: Pietro Masturzo, Davide Monteleone and Riccardo Venturi. Calabresi will discuss his meetings with ten of the biggest names of international photography: Paul Fusco, Josef Koudelka, Gabriele Basilico, Steve McCurry, Abbas, Sebastião Salgado, Paolo Pellegrin, Elliott Erwitt, Alex Webb and Don McCullin. A occhi aperti is a journey into history through images and words of the witnesses who have captured and experienced some of the most intense and dramatic moments of our past. These issues will be analyzed in relation to the professional experiences of Masturzo, Monteleone and Venturi.
