Digital devices (computers, smartphones etc) are an essential tool for journalists. These devices are however often subject to seizure as a result of criminal proceedings.
The talk will examine the latest national and international case law, highlighting which safeguards can be applied by the journalists to protect the integrity and availability of their IT systems and, especially, the confidentiality of their sources.
