Superdesk is a new story-driven platform for newsrooms that handles news creation, production, curation, distribution and publishing end-to-end. More (and different) than a CMS, Superdesk is open source, connects with legacy systems, and is maintained by Sourcefabric, a nonprofit institute with the sole purpose of making the best possible software for journalism. We're proud to premiere Superdesk to the public at IJF15, and we'll go over some of the things Superdesk is doing for its first user, Australian Associated Press, and how more news organizations can join the consortium of organizations using and building it.
